Choosing your protocol(s)

To date, 10 protocols are available for monitoring a wide variety of groups (birds, snails, wild plants, pollinating insects, etc.). Here are some tips to help you choose yours!

Choose your protocol according to the time of year

At what time of year should you carry out the 'Wild in my street' protocol, and can you plan to carry out the 'Worm Plots' at the same time?

This calendar will allow you to know at a glance what the observation periods are for the different protocols. The snowflakes, from December to February, mean that participation in the observatory concerned is possible but more complex because of the winter (for example, for 'Wild in my street', plants that are still alive are often more difficult to determine in winter).
