Our financiers

L'Office français de la biodiversité (OFB) is a public institution dedicated to the protection and restoration of biodiversity both in continental and overseas departments, under the guardianship of two ministries: the Ministère de la Transition écologique and the Ministère de l’Agriculture et de l’Alimentation. Among its missions, OFB seeks to mobilise society as a whole in favour of biodiversity. Its role as a lever for stakeholders, decision-makers and citizens should help reduce the pressure on fauna, flora and their habitats while multiplying positive contributions. To do this, the institution intends to raise the profile of biodiversity in public opinion and create the optimal conditions to encourage everyone's commitment. As a partner institution of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, OFB is part of the Vigie-Nature École steering committee and can therefore take part in decisions on the direction to be taken by this project.

The Fondation d'entreprise Hermès is a patron of Vigie-Nature École since 2019. The Hermès corporate foundation is committed to the preservation of biodiversity, as well as to actions aimed at supporting people in their relationship with ecosystems, while focusing its efforts on awareness-raising and training. As a patron, the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès does not participate in the Vigie-Nature École steering committee and is therefore not involved in the decision-making process for this programme.
